Mooresfort |
In the 1870s Mooresfort was built on Fife Road, adjoining Sheen Common, for JT Woollwright. Before the second world war it belongerd to the Morphy family (of the Morphy Richards firm). In 1940 it was occupied by the Marist Convent after their house in Richmond was severely damaged by bombing. It is now divided into two residences, 20 and 22 Fife Road, with several new houses and the converted stables in the grounds.
