The Planes

The Planes was a Georgian house facing Temple Sheen with its carriage entrance on Well Lane. The house was pulled down in the mid 1939s but its stables survive, much altered, as Mullion Cottage in Well Lane. On the gate posts to the cottage one can still see the inscription "The Planes Stables".
