Furness Lodge

Furness Lodge, originally known as Petra House, was built in the 1850s at the south end of Derby Road. The builder was Henry Goodale of Mortlake and its first occupant was Sir Henry Durand, Major-General in the Royal Engineers, who later became Lieutenant-Governor of the Punjab. The house survives and is now divided into 18 flats.
