Fairsnape

The Gothic Cottage, pictured in this drawing by Lewis Turner, was built in the 1860s at the south end of Derby Road. It was later renamed High Chimneys and then Fairsnape. It was used for a short time as extra classrooms for Sheen Mount Primary School, but the house was demolished in 1969 and the site incorporated into the school.
