Denmore |
In the mid 1860s a new road was constructed from the entrance to Sheen Common as far as the wall of Richmond Park. This was the first part of what is now known as Fife Road. Three houses overlooking Sheen Common were erected along it. The first of these was Durran Lodge, later Denmore, for the Hon CH Sinclair. The house, considerably extended and refurbished, still stands as 10 Fife Road.
